Its not A Hirschfanger , Those have black leather handle's.
What you have is a Imperial German Model 1871 for the Gewehr 1871 rifle
Looks like it was made in 1874 .
It has Regimental marking . So it could be traced back to were it was.
I can't help you there. I'm not any good with those.
