I wondered what weapon this bayonet belongs to.
Is there any relevant information with the numbers on it?

As far as I can tell it is the following:
B. 6. R. 8. 809

I found this picture which looks like the same bayonet.

Yes its a S98nA bayonet with bavarian unit for 6.Inf.Regiment.8.company and weapon nr.209, a 809 would be unreal on a company.

It is very rusted so I was not sure what number it is and just assumed it is a 8.

You are rather fortunate the leather scabbard has survived, many haven't.
