Interesting piece. Maker is better known for making Axes than daggers and bayonets. It appears to copy the form of a KS98, but is significantly different in construction.
I would think it's either a side arm for a Civil authority or even an export sidearm. The scabbard and rivets suggests early 20th century. Someone may be able to positively identify it.
-
I personally tend to a dress sidearm, not standardised, as done by the fabrik, the scabbard looks like standard KS98. Could be done as presentation piece of the firm too. Similar pieces could be not in books about bayonets as this is not fixable on rifle.
-
So it must be sort of presentation piece.
Only thing why it can be army related because it has that 98G style crossguard / Quillon.
But there has been thought in desing that it could be mounted into 98g rifle, it has raised spot for rifle-ring. If it was developed further, but lacks locking

I assume the grip is one piece cast, in reality it would be angled on rifle when mashined and most real the crosspiece is too high, so not real to made it attachable on rifle system Mauser 98.
