Is this sword Bavarian and is it original to WW1? Want to know if the thing is real or not before I buy it. Thanks in advance.

Yes, authentic Bavarian sword, made by Clemen & Jung of Solingen. Dates from about 1910-18, based on the scabbard, (single ring and black painted).
It's real, as Anderson writes, but it's not cavalry. From 1889 on all German cavalry sabres, with the exception of Saxons, were straight bladed with full basket guard.
1889 did see the standardization of cavalry and other swords for governmental use, but for the private purchase types makers advertised and sold versions of older "traditional" patterns. The saber here most likely for someone who was in a Bavarian (horse mounted/towed supply) "Train" - that could be worn off duty with the proper uniform. Best Regards, Fred
