Article about: I thought I would add pictures of my 1945 marked Indian infantry clasp knife. I like the differences between this and a standard British pattern including a blunted can opener and a smaller

Interesting that the cross hatching on the grip plates seem to have been cut after assembly of the knife.
Both of the Indian made ones I have are the same, put the scales on, clean them up and put some grips on them after. I have noticed this with a few other Indian ones.
