Article about: I picked this up yesterday local to me, it was quite rusty but cleaned up well, I just need to find the correct webbing scabbard for it.
I’ve got a similar one... rather more rusty, that my Grandad used to cut cabbages on the farm!

Thanks Bob. As I said, I gave it a clean as it was quite rusty but looks pretty good now....and I oiled it as well to keep it good. I see no problem with using such as this for its intended purpose, it it was a minter perhaps not, but a used rusty example, why not.

Thanks, I had already seen this and it is tempting, though the last digit of the date looks odd.....but maybe I will get it even though it is more than the machete cost.
