Hello!

Mark of producer – “the Maltese cross”. Probably, France the military period 1870-1871.
For what rifle is altered the bayonet?

All i know is that Maltese cross maker mark is "The subject of some discussion"!...

On the mark there are no questions. Bayonet is altered – increased ring. Diameter – 20 mm.
Comparison with the standard bayonet – on the photo.

You will compare ring – diameter it is changed – 20 with mm! Producer is – “the Maltese cross”. Version – France is the period 1870-1871. Here the alteration of bayonet.
