    It looks to be a mint British No 5 bayonet made by Poole in 1947. No 5s are hard to find in this condition and faked. Yours looks ok but your photos aren't clear enough for me to sure. I have a Poole 1946 which has a light broad arrow and inspectors mark on the top of the cross guard, a small broad arrow on either side of the release catch and a broad arrow with inspectors mark on the base of the pommel. Can you find any additional markings on yours?
