    It is German, not Allied, but that's okay, it is a good one.

    It appears to be marked to the "4th Regiment, Ersatz Bataillon, 3rd Company, Weapon No. 3" .

    It is an Sg84/98, First Pattern, a scarce and desirable bayonet. The First Pattern Sg84/98 bayonets were modified from the earlier Sg71/84 bayonets by altering the hilts to fit the Gew98 rifle and Kar98a.
