I had two Utica M3 s and i really regret selling them many years ago seeing as the price has gone through the roof now, i think they are the most desirable of all the American knives

This one is an unissued 'Utica' guard marked knife, or an 'Imperial' ( ? )
I'll have to go have a look see............

'USM8' ( USM8A1 - with the wire hanger ) not USMC. They were also
marked BM Co. - who made the metal throat. The sheaths were
made by VP - "Victory Plastics" - and had their logo on
the back of the scabbard body.

Yes i daresay thats correct Steve , it was nearly 30yrs ago that i sold mine, but ive always wanted to get another one, there was one for sale at WAP here in the UK, bloke wanted £250 and it wasnt in the best of conditions but he had about 10 of them all the others went higher in price, nearly choked on me crisps, when i found out what they are worth now
