P14 Remington Bayonet

Article about: I just picked up this October 1916 dated Remington bayonet. I believe it to be a P14, but it'll also work for an M1917. Can anyone help with the British markings? Are they just proofs/ accep

    Can anyone help with the British markings? Are they just proofs/ acceptance markings?
