Sanderson 1907 hooked quillon bayonet

Article about: Good day! First of all -very good forum and a lot of useful information. Would like to know your opinion about this hooked bayonet. It was reissued in 1910, 1913 and 1914. Is everything fine

    Good day!

    First of all -very good forum and a lot of useful information.
    Would like to know your opinion about this hooked bayonet.
    It was reissued in 1910, 1913 and 1914.
    Is everything fine with the hook?
    Will be very greatfull for your replies.

    I agree with wizardman - I can't see any obvious red flags with it.

    The only thing is that the scabbard is the 1st type without chape.
    Is it normal for the bayonet of 09 year? I've been told that scabbards were interchangeable. So I guess nothing wrong?

    Well that's just lovely!...early date, unit marked (2nd Batt Suffolk Reg?) , hooked quillion and a rare pattern of scabbard! It's got it all!
