What kind of combat knife is this?

I,m looking for any kind of information about this combat knife. Probably this is US knife, but I don't know anything else. Please help.

Any chance of seeing the blade? The handle does not look like any issued US knife I am aware of. It would be helpful to see what the blade looks like. Without any further information, I believe it is some sort of "Theater Made" affair. "Theater Made" is a nebulous term used by collectors to categorize the many differing designs that were made in backyard workshops and sent to the boys serving or something that was purchased/manufactured "behind the lines" and used in theater. Either case, I am not seeing something rare or of a known/standardized US design.
