Default 82mm mortar shell carrier tube?

I got this from an uncle of mine around 3 years ago, he was using this to carry his architectural drawings back when he was a college student. Since he know I like military stuff, so he gave it to me haha. I'm guessing this is an 82mm mortar shell carrier dated 1960 from the marking

    Here's some pictures

Maybe it is a soviet RPG carrier. Rich A. in Pa.

Do you have any reference? I've tried searched soviet RPG carrier, but it's either in form of bag or a crate, not a tube like this one...

I have a metal tube that I was told it is a RPG carrier. It sort of looks like yours. Perhaps the term carrier is not correct. It may be a transport tube. The propellant and projectile have to be mated to use. Rich A. in Pa.

    Hi,
    I would like to help.
Indeed a container for RPG-7V rockets exists, see mine (see pics).
It uses the sling of the launcher.
    Cheers,
    Luc
