    Hello,

I got this today. It is made of aluminum, with a steel handle. It is painted on the exterior with a glossy olive green paint. It does not appear ever to have been used. There is a "Red Army" stamp on it with a 39 date. Is this original or some kind of re-stamped postwar or reproduction item? Thanks for any help with this.

Looks like a postwar pot with fake stamp to me.

    Hello Chris,

I am afraid your cooking pot 'Kotelok' is a reenactor copy. I have never seen an M26/27 cooking pot with such a "Красная Армия" stamp before.
Well-known are the cooking pots that were manufactured by "Red Vyborzhets" (Кр.Выбор) in Leningrad.
