Hello,

Not necessarly, in my opinion. Informations about this kind of markings are quite scarce in the West, but I saw a lot of equipments with various dates of manufacture and otk codes that were not related to (e.g. OTK 10 on 1951 marked mess kit).

In my opinion, the OTK in combination with the number simply refers to a particular quality or technical standard.
