Re: Post-war or wartime field gear parts?
Hey militarymania,
Thanks for your reply. So how can you tell these are late post-war and not wartime. Im curious because i'm new in collecting Soviet militaria and I've much to learn. What are the differents for example. I bought the green cleaning kit pouch (which was told me to be part of the PPSH-41 set) together with a wartime bayonet. The M44 flare gun pouch was also in use during the Second World War. What are the difference between the wartime and post-war M44 pouch?

Hey,
I have these USSR parts in my collection, but im not certain if they are wartime or not. The 2 different pouches are containing weapon cleaning kits.
Thanks in advance,
Kaj
Comrade,
The large vinyl Pouch is Czechy used by the the CSLA of the CSSR, it is a Flare Gun Holster for a Soviet pattern SPSch-2. I have one as part of my Post GPW Warsaw Treaty Organisation Collection.
