PU, PE, PEM Scopes ?

Hallo,

I've been searching almost everywhere in books about snipers, on the web by the English and Russian Sites. And i got no clue at all. Almost everywhere there is written a specific scope code with these letters. But can anyone tell what does this stands for ?.

can anyone tell here what does the shortage of: PU PE PEM
actually stands for ??

I would really appreciate this help.

Hi Mario, PE = Pristsel Edinii (Common or unified sight).

PEM = unified model modern.

PU = Not sure on this one? Maybe Universal?

Great Thanks it was just nuts everywhere there were only short meaning shown like PU PE PEM without any translation or explanation.

The scopes match the rifles in date, and SN.
