Russian text on Soviet canteen

Does anyone know what the Russian text on this Soviet canteen means?
According to the stamp on the back it is from the 80s. I bought the canteen in Ukraine a few years ago

Literal translation is 1 Bata, so possibly 1st Battalion, or similar.

It can mean whatever. Russians like to cut the words and their abbreviations sometimes sound like a spell to summon a Satan.
