Did the RKKA (or VMF, pre-1946) ever use shoulder holsters? for tank or air crewmen, for example?
Any examples of private purchase or lend-lease shoulder holsters?
Thanks in advance,

I have never seen shoulder holsters used by Soviet forces in WW2.
Cheers, Ade.
Thank you most kindly, Ade.
I have never seen them used either, nor could I find any real reference to them.
Thanks again,

The only "shoulder holsters" ever used in the Soviet military, that I am aware of, are both post war, one was for the Stechkin APS automatic pistol, and one was for a suppressed version of the Makarov.
The only variation of this that I ever saw was a picture of a pilot, using a normal TT-33 holster, but he had it tied to his harness on the front of his chest.
