    My guess and may not even be accurate is Russian svt 40

    There's a very good website called Soviet combatslings with tons of photos and variations. Guessing what it can and can't be doesn't really help. One needs to know for certain and not a wild guess.

    This is/was the exact link but it seems it is not working anymore. It was an excellent page from which I learned a lot regarding PPSh and Mosin slings. Let's hope it's online soon again.
