USSR "HARNESS Armor" from WWII ?

Hi! I found this thingy at my local antique store.

The store owner claims that this is a "Harness Armor" (some kind of metal bulletproof vest) that was used in WWI and WWII by russian forces.

He also claims that this armor was used in Stalingraid and that is why it has so much rust and damage.

If this armor isn't a fake, and in fact was used in the battle of Stalingrad i assume this is worth alot? I never even heard of WWII "Harness armors" so i got no idea if this is fake or not.

The price on the armor is 1000 kronor.
(111.008 USD) or (87.5627 EUR).
What do you think it's worth and do you think its real or a fake?

Of cause this is real one SN 42 bodyarmor. the price is not too high, but you must understand that this one ids battlefield found, and rusty. The supply belts is for sure later added
