    I found this relic on a WW2 german battelfied, pretty deep not far from what i suppose are german postions, could it be the grip of one these cups? Did germans capture and use them?

    I know it is a very far stretch, but the position leads me to believe it was connected to the battel that happend there, it was in the middel of nothing, with no other signals but this cup. And i know definitly german troops build positions there, and very likely had also a camp there.

    It was a very big signal, but what remained of -what i now think was definitly a cup or something similar, crumbeld before my eyes, and nothing remaind but a few flat pieces of metal, and this grip.

    I managed to add a couple more mugs to the collection over the last year and I would like to show them here in this great thread. All are wartime mugs as far as my knowledge goes, not always in the best condition unfortunately.

    First up a Lugansk mug in green in fairly good condition:

    Second, another Lugansk mug in a bit darker shade green, stamped 84:
