These are indeed us, The canteen cover appears to be commercially produced but the web belt it probably ww2 era military manufacture
The pouch is, as already said, a cover for a military style canteen. However it is not US Army made and is simply a commercially produced item. In the light of no markings or stampings on the belt or the brass bits either, I would have to doubt that the belt is military also.

Canteen pouch could be 1942 USMC the type just before the 1st dog ear type. Can you post pic of the rear detached from the belt?
USMC used 5 or 6 different styles of canteen pouch in WW2 only 2 were the dog ear style
Here are pics of 1942 USMC cover (pix from LJ Militaria)
note the short seam front center is the same as your pic. If the rear is the same with the high mount hook, you have a highly desirable 1942 USMC cover
Pouch is definitely commercial. Can you show a pic of the belt
from the front connected together.........?
Regards,
Steve.
The belt may be USMC as well hard to tell from your pix
It is very similar to one that I was issued early on in my Army Career. 2005 (granted it was a very old belt at that time). But sometimes they still show up on unit inventory.
edit: The belt
