Default British WW2 Shell Dressing - ADMIRALTY issued

In addition to the usual Army and Air Ministry shell dressing packs I have a number that are marked Admiralty.
I have been told that these wld have been used by the RM Commandoes.
Would that be correct or were they also used on-board RN vessels as standard first-aid equipment ?

    Thanks.

They’d have been used by the Royal Navy in general, shipboard and onshore as well. They would have been used by the Commandos too, but not exclusively. If you were looking to put together a Commando display, an Admiralty dressing would be correct.
