    I am struggling to identify these binoculars. They are stamped military regulation , 10 lenses made in France. They come with a case which has red velvet ( i think ) inside the lid. The case is marked made in England.

    can anyone identify these binocularscan anyone identify these binocularsI'm pretty sure they belong to my grandfather who was a gunner in the merchant navy on the artic convoys as well as others if this helps.

    I have to agree-definitely not military issue. They are almost an opera glass size pair.
