Article about: Bought these from my older neighbor,just sitting in his garage on a shelf,paid 10.00 each,are they WW2?Look pretty old,any info appreciated.Offered 10.00 each and he said ok,howed I do?

    yep both WW2 and nice, for me the .30cal ones are harder to find.

    Thanks Rene for the info appreciate it!The paint looks to be original at least from what I can tell.30 M1 for the garand and 03,50 cal must be for machine gun.What does the word CROWN mean,maker?

    Crown is the maker .30 cal tin can be for the M1919 mg

    The smaller Ammo box made by Crown is
    one of the hardest makers to locate.

    Actually for the .30 cal Browning MG, as René pointed out earlier.
    I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a Crown in the wild.
