    WW2 British issue from my collection. Possibly Indian made I feel?

    Note the spare buttons BD in brass and alloy, collar hooks, khaki thread, needles etc. The rubberised/plastic buttons have not survived well over time.

    good item. I saw a Canadian example on Ebay recently which had a lot more in it and also included some rank stripes, though I did not bid on it.

    The spare buttons are always handy.
