    Hello!

Im trying to help a friend identify a piece of what i believe to be British P37 equipment used to carry heavier items on the back, such as ammunition or water cans. It has the british style webbing with brass ends and attachments.
Does anyone have the correct designation for this? And what was it actually used for?

Hello, and thank you for your suggestion

Karkee web was the first place i looked when i saw this piece, as its a great resource for all pieces British pattern webbing. Unfortunately i couldn't find it anywhere on their site on P37 or any of the other pre and post war patterns

I've been pondering about it some more, and the lack of British proof marks or any other markings leads me to believe this could be some kind of post war Danish, Belgian or Dutch webbing, as they all adopted some kind of british style equipment after the war. Again, I've been looking through the equipment of all those countries, but no results yet unfortunately. The side reinforcements around the piece also gives me American vibes as its similar to their canteen covers, though im not aware of the US adopting any British style webbings.

I've received a few more images of the piece. Hopefully this helps

Looks like it could be a carrier for the A41 (US AN/PRC-10) Radio set. Design almost Identical to US ST-120 Harness for same radio
