    Default Indian-Made First Field Dressing

    Picked up this little oddity today. By no means uncommon, but a bit harder to find than British-made examples. Made by Bengal Chemical, and marked with a large and conspicuous broad arrow over an I. There is an ink stamp indicating a manufacture date of 1942, possibly 14th of July, though it isn't the easiest to read.

    Very nice, and as you say rarer than the British version

    It has that rough look to it that most Indian-made items have, but that's part of their charm. A bit slapdash, but they got the job done just fine.
