    Hi John, the enamel signs I have seen from time to time, but I suspect the wooden crate is a real rarity.

    A & W does not stand for air and water but Albright & Wilson, the makers of these "upgraded" Molotov cocktails, stocked in large numbers by the Home Guard. (Or is "Air & Water" a joke, to which i was not privy ?) They were based on Self-Igniting phosphorous!
