    Cool piece of kit. Even comes with old earwax

    Mine are slightly different, and may be 1950's judging by the plastic container in my tins.

    I don't recall ever receiving ear protectors while I was in the army, and being artillery... our 40/70 Bofors guns went with quite a bang. But it wasn't the guns that gave me severe tinnitus, it was being 10 feet away from an IED when it went off!

    When i first fired a gun my thoughts were there must be a lot of deaf soldiers.

    My Dad did his National Service in the 50's on the Bofors at Puckapunyal. He always sat on the same side, so his hearling loss is only on the barrel side.
    Anyway the Q Store couldn't issue these tins because somebody else may need them!
