Range finder- MKIII

Hello chaps

I have been MIA for a while with the dreaded internet relocation to my new house. A friend of mine has a ranger finder and he would like to know about a bit more. So i have brought it to the experts. After talking to him he as sent photos and has informed me that the optics in his view are clear. So if you guys could please inform me what i seem to have here that would be great.
