Scrim scarf

Hi could someone tell me if this is WW2 or post war, It's been one of those little items I always think to get an answer to but never do.

Has all the hallmarks of a ww2 one...the colour...the weave which is what i'm told to look for.

The thread which is bound with cotton is the characteristic.Post war ones are 'loose' if you catch my drift.
