With a cover I've not seen before. It's open on the bottom with a cardboard manufacturers ID, and the bottle is blue with a rubber stopper. Were the blue ones ww1? I've seen a few pictures of them before. It was made in New Zealand. I wanted the carrier it came with, but now the bottle has me wondering. I just added my other one as a reference. The blue bottle cover feels like felt almost, it's a lot smoother than the green one. The tie on the bottom is "crackly" when I tried to pull it out to untie it, so I left it alone. If you have any ideas I'd appreciate them please. Thank you

Thanks Ade, I just wondered if they were dated in any way. Can't complain at the price you paid and a nice and unusual version of the water bottle.

Hi Jerry, no date to the card lable, which I have never dared to remove, so I do know if there was anything underneath it. I did a search on the Company when I wrote my original thread and they seem to be very active making a number of different products in the 30'/40's/50's.

    Cheers, Ade.
