I have to say I'm not collecting documents (except some complete estates).
Paper is not favorite material, got enought of it at work.
So I'm only take my notes when I see such documents at collector friends or in the www.
I'll take care the next time I see something regarding to no.1 tag from Heer.

Here's a sample of Dog Number '2'. Will he be an 'officer' or 'NCO'?
nope, This unit was created after September 1, 1939.


Therefore, position and service number are not linked!



Occasionally, the military number 1 dog tag of units created 'after September 1, 1939' is also the commander. (random)


So I only collect samples 'before September 1, 1939'.

Aside from that, I know a variety of analysis methods to determine authenticity, but it's difficult to say openly. Because it’s helpful information for Faker....
