    Goodevening guys,

    Today I got a new EKM in the mail.
    This is a nice complete one from 4. Batterie Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteilung 24, with rollnumber 5166 and bloodtype 'A'.

    The photo isn't great, as it gets dark here early. I will try to take better photographs later this week.

    Artillery Replacement Division 26
    Reserve Artillery Division 26



    Field post numbers of the replacement department from the summer of 1941: The 2nd ref. Battery came in the autumn of 1942 in the field post summary. The unit was not renamed reserve artillery division in the field post survey, but from the fall of 1942, it was the numbers of that division. The renaming to the I. Division of the Artillery Regiment 147 took place in the field post overview on 26 February 1944.

    The Artillery Replacement Department 26 was established on August 26, 1939 in Dusseldorf , in Military District VI , as a light artillery replacement department. The replacement department was subordinated to Division 166 . On November 4, 1939, the department relocated to Löbau in West Prussia, Wehrkreis XX . On August 14, 1940, the division relocated to Osnabrück , in the Wehrkreis VI . As of July 24, 1941, the division was subordinate to Division 156 . On July 24, 1941, the division relocated as a crew to Spa, in Belgium . As of October 1, 1942, the department was subordinate to the Division 526 . On October 5, 1942, the division is divided into an Artillery Replacement Division 26 and a Reserve Artillery Division 26 . The replacement department returns on October 26, 1942 to Dusseldorf , in the Military District VI , back. After the formation of the reserve department of the 156th Reserve Division was subordinated and relocated to the Channel coast. 1943 is the replacement department in Rheine , also military district VI . At this time, the replacement division of 176 Division was subordinated. The reserve division formed on 1 February 1944, the 1st Division of the Artillery Regiment 147 of the 47th Infantry Division . As of October 1944, the replacement division of Division 466 was subordinate .

    The replacement department provided the replacement for the following units:
