Article about: Hello again. Please enjoy these three discs. They all come from the eastern front. They are not at all among my most well kept tags, instead corroded and bent. I like how they stamped a line

    Hello again.

    Please enjoy these three discs.
    They all come from the eastern front.
    They are not at all among my most well kept tags, instead corroded and bent.
    I like how they stamped a line before and after the Stammrollnumber on the Stabs kp./J.R-tag.

    Please tell me your opinions or thoughts if there are any.

    Infanterie Regiment 261 was part of the 113 Infanterie Divison and was destroyed at Stalingrad.
    The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

    1st July 1916

    Stalingrad area is also the place where the tags were found.
    That place is a seemingly endless supplier of relics.
