Cheers Eike41! All good as far as authenticity is concerned? No red flags?
-
Looks good to me, the stamping is just right and I have seen a few others like it.
-
Great! I paid 60USD for the two of them which seem to be originals. Did I do alright?
Cheers

I think that is a fair market price $30 each. You did not take a bath as far as I am concerned. I buy disks that I find interesting and they give me hours of entertainment when I research the units.
-
Good to hear that it's a decent price! Am I right in that the 1.Kol A.A. 7 tag is the older of the two? What should I make of the fact that it lacks a blood type stamp?
Cheers,
Jon

Not all EKM had a blood group on them 1

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Giovanni, I think you may be mistaken on the service record of the 3rd Panzer Division, after it fought in Belgium and France at the beginning of the war it went to Russia for the rest of the conflict. The Aufklärungs Abteilung mot. 3 went to North Africa as part of the 5th Light division that later became the 15th Panzer Division and the Aufklärungs Abteilung mot. 3 became the "Panzer Aufklärungs Abteilung 33". This disk may be from Africa but it would be part of the 5th light division or 15th Panzer Division.
