Hello Hardy some of the ID Disk gents will be along shortly.....but my 2 cents ..I do not collect these at all nor do I have knowledge of them...but what is obvious is that the stamping has been applied what is already seen on top of a prior condition and bubbling on this disk.
I see this on quite a few faked dagger blades and postwar inscriptions...again wait for further comment.

It looks correct to me, but I'm not a big SS ekm collector. A rare one to find and widely faked, but I think this one is ok.
This is a genuine General Seyffardt EKM it was found in Estonia about 10 years at a location where the GS Regt was cut off and destroyed during the withdrawal from Narva .

Well know ORIGINAL General Seyffardt ekm. A beauty.
It's true that many 13 kompanie of the same regiment (like mine) probably have the rollnumber engraved after the war, but the tags itself are originals.
