I'm in a position to buy this german dog tag.

Is it an Original ww2 dog tag?
And what does it mean?

Panzerabwehr-Ersatz-Abteilung 48 - Lexikon der Wehrmacht

Unit is in the link above, it is an anti tank unit, I think it looks original. The STAB is the German abbreviation for headquarters.

Looks ok to me also, worth noting that different stamp sets have been utilised, the Stab being added after the initial Pz Jg Ersatz Abteilung unit marking had been stamped. Nothing to be concerned about but part of the idiosyncratic appeal of this ekm.
