RAD Erkennungsarken

Article about: Last ID Disk for today. This one is a RAD. Someone unfortunately put a coat of varnish on it to "protect" it I assume. Made it difficult to take pictures. Is this any good? Any inf

    Last ID Disk for today. This one is a RAD. Someone unfortunately put a coat of varnish on it to "protect" it I assume. Made it difficult to take pictures.

    Is this any good? Any info on this unit?

    5th RAD company/ 241st RAD bataillon / M 256

    I don't see anything suspicious about it- RAD isn't really valuable at all so I don't expect they're faked much. No, no unit information- it's RAD- they dug ditches, worked farms and basically laboured LOL
    Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...

    I must stand up for the RAD Matt.
    The RAD was instrumental in helping to build infrastructure like the highways airfields, military complexes, bridges and railroads tank traps and more.

    Oh I wasn't belittling them- I know very well what an impact they had; we'd do well today to have such an organization LOL I only meant there isn't specific historical recordings for their work the way there is for a combat unit.
