SS LAH EKM _ is this a fake?

I always thought is to be a fake so just looking for confirmation
The holes seem to be off in some way, 2 are noticeably larger than the opposite one. Is this a sign of a fake?
I have also never seen a similar looking LAH EKM , but it could be a very old one ?

To me it looks like the stamping is done over / into the corrosion of a dug up blank.

There is something going on. Or it has been cleaned very cleanly at the letters.But what Danmark says seems quite possible to me.

This disk is also stamped with an "I" for first battalion? I have never seen LAH stamped that way. I do not think it is correct.

Also if you look at the crossbar on the "A" it is over the corrosion
