I found this tag on fleabay, and wanted to know more about it. Firstly, is it any good?


So if I'm reading this correctly, it is Stamm. Kompanie Grenadier Ersatz Batalion 284. (Training Company Grenadier Replacement Batallion). I did some looking on Lexicon Der Wehrmacht, and couldn't find such a company, mostly because I couldn't find the training units.

What am I doing wrong here?

I'm not a fan. It's been badly (or deliberately) overcleaned/scratched. I can't find the unit either. The Stamm Kompanie is the cadre around which the unit is formed. The unit is an Infanterie Replacement Battalion, later in the war renamed as Grenadier. But I would pass.
