Can anyone recommend books in English on the history of the armed forces of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania during their wars of independence to their occupation first by the Soviets and then by the Nazis in WW2. Thanks.

We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

The book you mentioned here.
I think Osprey do a basic volume on the Baltic states participation in WW2.
German Eastern Front Allies. Men at Arms number 363
Publishers Discription,
The Baltic nations - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - enjoyed a brief independence between the World Wars before being annexed by the USSR in 1940. The grim experience of Soviet occupation made it inevitable that after the German invasion of Russia in 1941 they would fight beside the Wehrmacht as allies again.
