1939 Pattern : 1947 Pattern 31MM
The two models appear to be almost identical.
However:
1- Note the quality and thickness of the enamel between the two.
2- Note that the mounting and configuration of the attaching prongs on the 1939 type is a bit different , compared to the the 1947 type.
Subtle? Yes.
Again, kindly keep in mind that all the information posted here comes not from me, but from Russian cockarde collectors.
