Jacket, Late Period, USSR, Stair-Step Camo '90
Thought I'd take a few of pics of this one whilst I had it out for a bit.
Flea market find in the late 90's here (god knows how it got here!?!)
Had a Russian work Mate back then tell me it's Ukrainian made.
Stair - Step is a name new to me (via camopedia), but I reckon it should be called the Atari Asteroids pattern
It's actually a good pattern for grass land & well made & not common to find down here.

Yep, it is Ukrainian made alright. This camo is reffered to as Berezka, a nice find for sure. These Border guard items have shot up in price recently.

Have this set too but not in the same league.
Quickly dressed up in the junk room! never done before!

Cheers for replying Mate.

No problem, I occasionally use the Berezka suit you posted for camo in the spring down here, it works quite well!

Interesting and iconic camo patterns. You still see berezka being worn for work wear in Ukraine. Every generation seems to wear the camo they were demobbed in so it gets rarer.
I wouldn't call that a 'junk room' by the way!

Cheers Fellas, Really appreciate it. Just received a 50's belt today! And yes it is a junk room that is too full!!!

Such rooms can never be too full
