This is an Imperial EKII that although not in the greatest of condition spoke to me when I saw it. There is also something about KO crosses as well that I just like, I seem to be drawn to them sometimes.
So here it is, a little salty and suffering from a hard life. I like to imagine that it sustained some of this damage in the field at the time however we will never really know.
I like it and I completely understand why you bought it.
Some KOs had a problem with paint loss. I have the 1st class version of yours.
Lots of missing paint and I reached over a couple of perfectly fine crosses so I
could pick mine. The dealer even lowered the price for me after I complained
that I could not afford one of his pretty crosses.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned

I too, love the, "been there" looking crosses. It brings more realism as to having them being potentially field worn. They all have a place within my collection.
Congratulations on another addition.
