I just looked it over closely, no markings on the swords, exterior edges of the cross, or the crown.
It seems that most of the things I collect are like that, endless!

You're right, Ralph. I started collecting Imperial Saxony and Prussia, but somehow wound up with a whole hoard of these Bavarian medals. Of course they were way cheaper BITD. I can remember getting a second class like yours, cased, out of an auction for little money.
