The two squirrels and the C.E may be the marking of Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Can you take a photo of the mark?
actually i don't have an option in a few hours maybe
thanks! the Carl eickhorn sounds propably .anyone knows the model?
good luck
um i know what that squirell emblem is but i have never seen it on bayos before only daggers and swords and such fancy things, never a battle bayo but it could be a parade bayo perhaps? this pic is of a similar parade bayonet for the german police but the bayonet is way to crude to be a parade bayonet atleast in my opinion but lets wait for the experts to step in
i cannot make the photo but i found it its the same two sqirrels
marvellous....discovered the productor. How much is long the bayonet?
Looks like a M1871/84 Bayonets of Imperial Germany 1871-1918
i dont have option to mere it,but on other forum someone wrote me that this is
an walking out version of 71/84 bayonet without muzzle ring
it may be true, the handle of mine is covered with nickel
thanks for helping!
i have found in the web a several 71/84 bayos (one of them is dress bayonet)
and all of them have a profiled handle except of mine (last photo)the handle is traight
anyone know why?
does the low serial number on press stud mean anything? it have number 546
